Lauren Graham is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 (Pn1) Certified Nutrition Coach, canfitpro Certified Personal Training Specialist (PTS), author, and competitive CrossFit Athlete.
Lauren also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
This experience working in the corporate sector gives Lauren firsthand experience to understand the demands and challenges that busy working professionals face, and to create effective strategies and solutions for healthy eating and purposeful movement even when long hours and deadlines loom.
Lauren is also a mom, with an adult stepdaughter and an active pre-teen son, so she knows the importance of coming up with quick, delicious and nutritious meals that the whole family will enjoy and will fit in around work, school, and extracurricular activities.
Before CrossFit, Lauren had a background in competitive swimming, and also dabbled in road running (from 5k to full marathon), general group fitness classes (hello step aerobics!), flatwater canoe & kayak racing, and was on various high school sports teams including fastpitch softball, track & field, and badminton.
With so many different hats (working professional, parent, and athlete), Lauren knows what it’s like to step into the shoes of many different readers for her articles on FeastGood. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge of fitness and nutrition to help as many people as possible.
When Lauren isn’t working, training or writing, she likes to relax at home with her family and catch up on Netflix series or curl up with a good book. This is also the perfect time to test out the latest healthy high-protein baked good – trying new recipes is a major hobby, and her husband and son get to be the test subjects for her latest creations.
